WALNUT TEA BOX

This was the second tea box I made for my wife. The first was made from Red Oak with rabbeted corners, dadoed divider slots, and the final product was not quite square because at the time I didn’t know any better. Fast forward two years and I replaced it with this much lighter weight and more practical example made from Walnut and finished with hard wax oil. Box joint corners give the piece a look of superior construction compared to its predecessor.
