CHERRY FRAME GLASS TOP
COFFEE TABLE
My in-laws bought a set of patio furniture three years ago that didn’t weather very well but they managed to salvage the tempered glass. They asked me to use the glass and design a table for their sports room and this is what I came up with. The skirts are all connected to the legs via mortise & tenon joinery, as are the styles surrounding the glass into the longer rails. Venturing away from what I had been using for quite some time, I used a combination of General Finishes Seal-a-Cell and Arm-r-Seal to finish the table. This was my second project using the Cherry left behind and rescued from a friend’s new property.
